These days, carrying an eco bag in the shopping mall is more than just an eco advocacy. It has become a fashion statement for some, even the young, trendy and adventurous ones.
I must admit that it took me a while to get into the habit of bringing a reusable bag whenever I’m out shopping for groceries or other things. So don’t feel guilty if you haven’t started bringing your own bag when you are out in the mall. It takes some effort and a little time to get into the eco friendly gear. What matters most is an awareness of how we can play a part in the environment we all live in, making it a better place for our future generation.
While shopping with my girl friend yesterday, she surprised me when she whipped out her foldable shopping bag. She told me that she and her hubby no longer bring home plastic bags or carriers. They would put all their shopping purchases in their existing shopping bag whenever possible.
Back home, they even use recycled material to make their own car cover instead of getting new ones all the time. They remind me that we all can do our little part in promoting a more eco friendly lifestyle by following simple practices. Bring your own bag is getting common among the environmentally conscious individuals. Let’s do our bit to promote the use of recycled and resusable bags to save the earth from more harm and pollution!
