As I strolled pass the stores in the mall this afternoon, I was impressed with the Christmas decorations and glittering lights coming from the white lit trees and colourful bells. In less than two weeks’ time, Christmas is here! For those who are hosting parties, try to use washable cutlery instead of disposable ones! And those who are shopping for gifts, choose eco gifts for the good of Mother Earth!
Though I’m not one of those who host parties every Christmas, I make it a point to gather few friends for a nice lunch or dinner. What is nice is the time where everyone starts to exchange gifts – it is a nice and memorable gesture. I told hubby I would like a set of equestrian apparel and I am just not sure if he is granting me my wish! Oh yes, I just bought a couple of eco bags for my girl friends from Envirosax and I know they are going to love it.
If you want to add a special touch to your eco gifts, try getting creative with recycled materials and make a card, sew a bag or design something for your loved ones. I’m sure they will appreciate the thought and the efforts, what more, they will be encouraged by your love to go eco friendly!
So how are you doing in your coming Christmas shopping? I’m sure you have had your wish list all drawn out and in return, you may have received a wish list from your children and close ones. I also hope that they will be delighted with the eco gifts you plan to give to them.
With the current advanced technology, people are finding it so easy to search gift ideas online. Whether it’s a search in Bing, Google or web directories, you will be presented of lots of results and information at your fingertips. I was searching for a good Christmas gift for my little nieces and nephews and came across a fun, educational and smart toy car which doesn’t require batteries or any power charge. Not sure about you but I’m never too keen with toys that need batteries which consume alot of energy and power.
I love Christmas. To me, it’s a season of giving and blessing your loved ones with warm wishes and appreciation and it helps bring the family closer. When I was young, I looked forward to be a receiver but when I’m adult now, I witness the joy of giving. There are some friends whom I exchange gifts every year. I told some of them that I would be looking out for eco gifts this Christmas and they are looking forward to their surprises.
NuFace is the only microcurrent hand-held device approved by the FDA for over-the-counter use for cosmetic facial toning. This little and handy device uses a gentle microcurrent to help lift and firm your face, lessen the look of lines and wrinkles, and pump up production of collagen and elastin. Literally reprograms muscles to their original shape. With these features, it will help to save my friend money from face lifting procedures…etc.
Looks like I’m doing good shopping for eco gifts for my friends and family. There are still a few to go but I’ll keep them for the next week or so. I need to shop around for my own christmas gift too!
The excitement in me grew as I start to shop for gifts for my mom who is a home-proud person. She can spend hours just decorating the house and this Christmas, I am thinking about an eco gift that is ideal for her home decorating passion.
