contemporary and modern glass art

The people next door have been telling us about their travel tales since their return from their 3 months tour in their travel trailers. They love collecting glass vases and ornaments and a visit to their house is like a little art gallery for me. One of the items that stood out to me is the Lifesaver Bowl designed by John Pomp. Being a lover of modern design and contemporary art, his beautiful glass works have appeared in numerous publications including house and garden, martha stewart living, wallpaper, vogue, instyle, one, W, city, real simple, elle décor, to name a few. I love his use of pure glass and functional, minimalist forms and his organic approach to design is the combination of modern color concepts. Through his creative application, smooth, seductive and sexy vase forms like the silhouettes, bulbs, and eggs reflect his passion for glass art.
