Eco Living with Style and Fashion
Lately, many local supermarkets are promoting “No Plastic Day” in encourage more consumers to become environmentally friendly. Some aren’t too pleased to be greeted with zero plastic bags for their groceries while others are more prepared with their own shopping bags. Maybe it’s time to look for modern ways to promote eco living amongst us!
I was thinking to myself if such efforts will help to ingrain in us the need to live an eco friendly lifestyle and the answer is ‘yes’. Many of my friends have started to slip their own eco bags into their handbags when they are out shopping. Many of these environmentally bags are funky, modern, contemporary and very stylish so it’s not the plain jute bag or dull looking shopping bag like before. I like the retro natural cotton ones with bright stunning graphics like the ones below. I mean, who would mind carrying these fashionable eco bags when out on a shopping spree? Some time back, I was exchanging ideas with some friends on online auctions and we ended by surfing online eco fashion finds. This cute Melissa Shoes Anglomania Mary Jane II caught my attention.
