A lot of the parents I know are starting their kids on music. I, like them, have decided to send mine. But I did realized that my boy isn’t very keen on that so I’m wondering if that’s the route we should take.
It’s not good forcing them to do things they don’t enjoy. But at this young age, they may not even know what’s good for them. Music is more than just learning tunes and instrumentals, it stimulates the mind and encourages creativity. I know he has talked about learning how to play the electric guitar one day. It is cool instrument for kids his age and he went woo and wow when he saw the ibanez rg370dx. If that’s what he likes, then I wouldn’t mind giving him a go on that.
Coming to myself, I am thinking I should do a musical instrument this year… am I cut out for it, I wonder?
The year had begun like a rushing wind and it’s now february! Where has all the time gone, I wonder?
I’m glad school has started and my boy has gone back to his regular routine. All children needs a routine to stay happy and I’m a believer of that. I am thinking of starting a horse riding class since I have a bit more time to myself now. Then I need to get breeches and a pair of good boots. The weather is quite humid now so I’m not sure if it’s the right season to begin my riding. Maybe autumn is better time. By then, I would have finished all my exercise classes!
School is back and it’s back to routine and time tables for me again.
My son is happy to be back to school and so do I! This year, he has a new group of classmates and I hope that he’s liking his new teacher too! Being first term in school, he’s not receiving any birthday invitations yet but come second semester, he will get busy again. That’s the time where I would need to start looking for kids birthday gifts online and that’s probably the best way to shop for the right stuff.
Moving on in grade two, it will be more real work for my little boy and I just know it’s all working out good for him.
After moving down under for a year, my hubby has developed a liking for biking. He bikes on the weekends and he’s enjoying the hills and parks in Brissy.
His birthday is coming soon and I’m thinking about buying him something he likes and he can use. I know he’s been looking at a kuat bike rack and that would make a good gift for a guy who likes biking. Only thing is, I am not familiar with such outdoor accessories so doing a research with be the best thing to do.
Since the weekends is coming, it will be research time so that I can get his gift on time!
Big can be beautiful and I believe we have heard this statement so many times. We are often tainted by what we see in the media and thus we tend to believe that we need a slim figure to look beautiful.
These days, you can find nice plus size dress for women who are bigger and you will soon realize that being big isn’t that embarrassing at all. It’s all about knowing how to carry yourself and having a positive attitude towards how you look.
After going on a shopping spree for a week, I find myself looking at another new watch.
A few brands had come to my mind and it’s just so hard making a decision to get the right one. I used to fancy stainless steel watches for their durability but some friends were suggesting titanium watch for its lightweight abilities. Since Christmas is coming, it would be good time to start checking out some in the stores.
It’s always nice to move into your own house and this is my dream in the new year.
I happen to visit a friend who had just moved to her own place and was happy that she found what she wanted. She had metal hose Installed in her bathroom and it gave the house an industrial look which was so cool. I am already visualizing what I am going to do when I have my own house. I hope that the price will be so right that I can find what I want!
Growing up in a concrete jungle like Singapore, I never had a chance to camp in the outdoors. Even if I do, the experience is very different and it’s just not as fun as its meant to be.
Our friends had a full set of camping equipment and I marveled at their desire to go full swing with outdoor camping. We were looking at kelty tents and some other outdoor stuff for our next camping expedition. Sometimes, it’s hard to buy the right stuff so the best way is to read reviews and learn from others. Another good way is to read magazines and gather enough information from other people.
My son can’t wait for this day. After a year of hard work and discipline, he’s finally on his last day of school and the holidays began!
He is so happy that he can’t wait to watch his favourite videos and he’s already looking at some new ones. Daddy is checking out the new Magnavox as he too loves to watch tv. Well, I’m looking forward to doing more baking in the kitchen but before that, I would love to take a break and do nothing. Shopping will be the next exercise in the list. Any takers?

It’s definitely more convenient, whether you are a consumer or a business owner. For instance, if you are a medical person, you can shop for med carts and healthcare stuff online without visiting your suppliers. And for consumers, we can buy things from the comforts of our home without even being there in the store. And the best thing for me is, I can shop and buy things that are overseas! Can you imagine what my life would be like if I’m stuck with local choices?
