Do you agree that things that are handmade should be dearer than branded mass produced items? Some may disagree on the point that handmade stuff has no brand thus should not cost more than items with a brand. But indie shoppers would justify on the time, efforts, uniqueness and special difference that is tagged with handmade artisan products. I believe it all depends on the individual. Personally, I love works by artisans and indie designers but that doesn’t mean I will shun from branded items too. Also, the value is dependent on the quality, material and finish of the product, whether it be handmade or mass produced. What are your thoughts?
